What Are My Responsibilities as a Cauldron Member?

First, and most importantly, it is to show up and support your team. For every minute of every game, we are there to support our boys and make Children’s Mercy Park a fortress and the most hostile environment for opposing teams that we can. We do this with our songs, drums, flags, but most of all, our hearts. We are ambassadors of the beautiful game and of supporters culture. We are welcoming to those who are new, while staying open minded to learn from the wisdom of supporter veterans who have been working at this for many years. We have respect for each and every person in the stadium.

This community is best when, as individuals, we project its best qualities. It is a unique experience in the sports world, but one that has made this team and culture great. We, therefore, have the responsibilities to be good stewards of this community, respect other fans, follow the MLS Fan Code of Conduct (found under the Fan Etiquette toggle on the Cauldron 411 page), follow the KC Cauldron Code of Conduct (link below), and exemplify our Pride motto, “All Are Welcome!“

How Are My Membership Dues Spent?

It provides financial support to the KC Cauldron, a primary supporters group (along with South Stand SC) who are recognized by Sporting KC for our direct support of the team. It helps us also support the efforts of the smaller supporters groups under the Cauldron umbrella and in other philanthropic initiatives.

Membership dues also pay for the KC Cauldron tailgate experience (bus repairs, beverages, supplies, and other entertainment), increase our ability to subsidize travel for all Cauldron Members, fund tifo displays, and if a few dollars are left at the end of the year, throw a modest Holiday Party. If we get around a million members, maybe we can discuss a First Team Kit sponsorship.

What Are the Benefits of My Membership?
